| Chile - the highest purchasing power per capita in Latin America |
|
The so-called GDP per capita, adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP), measured real income per capita in the country to a basket of services and merchandise. Economists prefer the figure traditsionalnomu GDP per capita, which divides the GDP per year per capita, but does not take into account factors such as inflation or changes in the exchange rate. In doing so, Chile remains the leader in the region for both indicators. Almost $ 1000 increased purchasing power Chileans for the year, from $ 13083 a year per capita in 2006 to $ 13936 in 2007. This figure is in the first place in Latin America listed on the International Monetary Fund (IMF). |
