Chile en informe mundial de competitividad

Segun el ultimo Informe de Competitividad Mundial (2008) -presentado ayer por la Universidad de Chile y elaborado por el Institute of Management Development (IMD) de Suiza Chile subio al primer lugar en 3 categorias: apertura comercial, cumplimiento de obligaciones tributarias y garantia de los compromisos previsionales. En materia de politicas fiscales y monetarias, Chile por primera vez esta entre las 10 mejores economias del ranking, codeandose con paises avanzados, comento el ministro de Hacienda de Republica Chile, Andres Velasco.

En el ranking de competitividad Chile se ubica en el lugar 26 entre 55 paises, el mismo puesto de 2007.

La competitividad mide las condiciones para que personas y empresas tengan un adecuado desarrollo, volviendo atractivo al pais como plataforma de negocios.
